How do we get to the FFX Theater?
Family Fun Xperience is located at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, near the Pier and Ferris Wheel, off 16th Street between Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Avenue. Look for the orange awning at our main entrance. Uber and Lyft can drop off right at our entrance on 16th Street.

Parking:
Parking for shows and performances is available all around the oceanfront area. The most convenient lot is located near our entrance along 16th Street between Pacific and Atlantic avenues (enter off 16th next to our building). This is not 'our lot' but if there is no attendant on duty we can sell you a pass to park at the box office when you check in.
Additional nearby public lots are located at the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier and at Star of the Sea Church (see map below). If you are parking on the street please be mindful of parking signs and meters, and please be respectful of our neighbors' driveways and private property.
Warning: all lots and public spaces are paid spaces from April through October (and some at other times also) and as such they do tow or ticket cars regularly if parked in violation of posted signage or meters. NOTE: Between October 1 and April 1 ONLY, parking is FREE during showtimes in the lot off 16th Street only! (ask at box office if a pass is needed to place on your dashboard, do not pay the QR code signs).
Street parking on Atlantic Avenue from November 1 thru April 1 is limited to 2 hours and is not sufficient for most shows at FFX.

Walking Directions:
Head on the Boardwalk or along the sidewalks of Atlantic Avenue down toward 16th Street, you will see the pier and/or the Ferris Wheel near us. If you are coming from a higher numbered street (17th and up) then head south and 16th will be the block after the Dairy Queen and before you get to the Pier and Ferris Wheel. If you are coming from 15th street or lower, head north and 16th Street will be the next block after you pass the Pier and Ferris Wheel.

Ride the Wave!
The VB Wave trolley Routes 30 and 35 both make access to our location on 16th street very simple. Route 30 (Oceanfront) runs approximately every 15 minutes. Route 35 (from First Landing State Park and Shore Drive) runs approximately every 30 minutes. . Passes are available at Sunsations locations. City bus connection spots are also available heading in from other areas across Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads (see transfer point at 21st Street on map below).
To reach the oceanfront area via bus, check the Hampton Roads Transit site for route information. Route 960 is an express route from downtown Norfolk's transit center to the resort area in Virginia Beach with select stops along the way. Routes do change annually and seasonally, check for updated route maps online.
