That Summer The Wolf Came

An original screenplay by James R. Sanzo

An aging man struggling to survive financially with his

middle-aged son, becomes entangled in a life changing crime with an unknown stranger.

Synopsis: George Tate, a man in his early 70’s, with no real visible means to maintain even a meager lifestyle, spends his days scrambling and rummaging for sustenance.  With his middle-aged son forever by his side, they head out daily looking for opportune situations for financial gain.

As fate or bad luck would have it, father and son observe an event where a stranger is in the process of conning several unsuspecting citizens at a local ATM machine.  While in the act of the con, the stranger approaches the pair for them to verify the con in exchange for monetary gain.  George quickly agrees to go along, while his son becomes a reluctant accomplice to his father’s agreement!  While carrying out the con several days later, things take a terrible turn for the worse as the con man himself falls victim to his own plan resulting in his accidental death, leaving George and Brad as accomplices to murder!
